Our Saviour's Community Services (OSCS)

Our Saviour’s Community Services –
Increasing Skills, Improving Lives!

  • We welcome the stranger – by teaching English to the newest immigrant and refugee adults in the community. This program is the English Learning Center.
  • We serve the poorest of the poor – by offering emergency shelter, meals and clothing to those who are homeless. This program is Our Saviour’s Housing.  (Those who need shelter should contact Adult Shelter Connect, 612-248-2350, or United Way, 651-291-0211.)

A direct-service nonprofit organization, we were created to contain these two vital programs begun by the congregation in the early 1980’s. We incorporated in 2004, and are governed by an elected Board of Directors. While we operate independently now, we reflect a mission and ministry of care for our neighbors on behalf of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.

Volunteers are vital to the work we do.  Please join us!  To learn more, visit our website www.oscs-mn.org or call 612-871-5900.
