Peace with Justice Forum: Respectful Conversations

Sunday April 21, 12:30-2:00pm, at Central Lutheran Church, 3rd Ave and 12th St, Minneapolis (next to the Minneapolis Convention Center)                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Presenters: Gail Anderson, Minnesota Council of Churches’ Director of Unity and Relationships, and Tonia Johnson, Program Organizer for the Respectful Conversations Project.

Over a year of conducting respectful conversations with Minnesotans in every part of the state, the Minnesota Council of Churches has learned a lot about building empathy. Learn how “Respectful Conversations” build empathy among people who disagree about significant issues, how to evaluate success, and how to empower congregations to be sources of peace within their communities. You will also hear about what’s next for building empathy in Minnesota.

Lunch available ($7.00). Validated parking is available in the Central parking lot/ramp on the south side of the church.
