Pizza to eat, and Faith Formation launch!

After worship, from 12pm - 1:30pm, we invite everyone to come to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church to pick up fresh pizza from the oven and 'faith food' boxes with faith formation materials for all ages. We will also have Sunday school materials to hand out to kids, communion bread to hand out, and tours available of the Chicago Ave. garden with farmer Melissa Trent.

Here are some instructions on the flow for this event and guidance on how to stay safe.

If you plan to stay in your car, please drive up the alley entering from 24th Street. Stay in line and roll down your window or open your trunk - a runner will bring you a pizza and a 'faith food' box. Then you can proceed north up the alley and head out on your way.

If you would like to stay and picnic at church with the pizza, please park somewhere in the neighborhood. No alley parking will be available due to our traffic flow for folks doing pick-up. Bring everything you need for a picnic with you - blanket or chairs, plates, drinks, supplemental food, etc. You need to maintain social distance from other picnic bubbles around the church grounds.

We know that nurturing your faith in this time is hard. The 'faith food' we have to offer you includes guidance for faith practices you can do at home or in your neighborhood that will nourish you in this time when we can't gather together in our sanctuary. To be clear - these boxes are not just for children, but are intended for all ages.

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
