Mission of the Month: Cherish All Children

Cherish All Children is an ELCA ministry to equip congregations to prevent child sexual exploitation. Your financial support makes it possible to deliver a prevention message, work to end the demand for trafficking, and equip congregations to pray, educate, connect, and act on behalf of vulnerable and trafficked children. Shining A Light In The Darkness: A Faith-Based Response to Sex Trafficking, will be held on Saturday, February 4, 10am-Noon, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 3045 Chicago Ave, Minneapolis. Free! Come hear the voices of survivors and organizations that work to endthe demand and lift up survivors of sex trafficking. Speakers from Breaking Free, PRIDE, Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, and the Minneapolis Police Department will guide us through these complex topics.Learn about sex trafficking and what you and your congregation may be able to do to help. Light refreshments will be served and all are invited to stay afterward for a community meal. The event is sponsored by Our Saviour’s, Bethel, Mt. Olive, Calvary, Holy Trinity, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Churches, along with Cherish All Children.
