New Projects Added!

The ELCA has designated September 11 as a nationwide day of service. We'll observe a special day here at Our Saviour's:

  • 9:00am Education for all age
  • 10:00am Coffee Fellowship
  • 10:30am Worship
  • After Worship -- Service Projects

Listed here are some of the service projects you might choose:

  • Assemble School Kits for Lutheran World Relief – supplies for children around the world who need basic learning tools (See the list of items needed below.)
  • Deliver bread to our neighbors
  • Make booklets for the English Learning Center. Join Sandy Aslaksen and LaRue Unglaube making bound booklets for students to use in their classroom activities.
  • Help Our Saviour's Housing. Join Jenny Mason (OSH Program Director) and Nate Blumenshine. If the weather is good, we'll focus on exterior yard work, weeding and trimming back bushes around the properties. If the skies are unfavorable to us -- we'll work to organize donations to be given to our Permanent Supportive Housing residents, to be done in the basement of Epiphany House.
  • Clean up trash around our neighborhood
  • Tie quilts for Lutheran World Relief
  • Participate in letter writing advocacy. Contact legislators about a variety of issues of concern to you!
