"God's Work, Our Hands"

Sunday, September 13 – “God’s Work, Our Hands”.

Please sign up in the narthex. On this day, Our Saviour's joins other congregations in this nationwide work day. Several service options will be available.

One project is to pack School Kits for Lutheran World Relief. these kits provide the basic supplies for a child’s education. If you can help provide these items, it will be appreciated! In each kit we will include:

  • 4 70-sheet notebooks or wide or college ruled paper
  • 1 pencil sharpener
  • 1 30 cm. ruler (may have inches on other side)
  • 1 blunt scissors that cuts well
  • 5 unsharpened #2 pencils with erasers
  • 1 box of 16 or 25 crayons
  • 5 blue or black in ballpoint pens (no gel)
  • 1 2 ½ inch eraser.

On Wednesday, September 2, join us to help make simple backpacks to contain these items. Meet at 5:30 in the Hospitality Center. For more information, contact LaVonne B.
