ISAIAH
ISAIAH is an organization of about 100 congregations in the Minneapolis and St. Cloud areas that work together on local, city, regional, statewide and national issues. An active member, Our Saviours brings issues to the congregation for consideration and action. Working together on issues that concern us all, we can bring issues of justice and racial equity to the attention of policy makers in Minnesota. Some current issues include:
- quality education
- moratorium on school suspensions
- working on racial equity concerns
- access to healthcare
safe and affordable housing- transportation and jobs
- promoting human rights
- working on a paid sick time ordinance in Minneapolis
- uniting communities
Prophetic Voices is an inter-faith initiative of ISAIAH that is creating a common, prophetic narrative the clergy and congregants alike can draw on to engage people in deep dialogue about racial equity, an economy that works for all, and an agenda for action.
